We do not know, at least as of the time of this writing, what the word is on the status of Pittsburgh Steelers outside linebacker T.J. Watt and the severity of his suspected torn pectoral muscle that he suffered late in yesterday’s season-opening victory over the Cincinnati Bengals.
What we can pretty much take for granted is that he is going to miss time, one way or another, whether it’s a good chunk of the season or the entirety of it, and that’s unavoidably going to be a devastating blow to the defense, and the team as a whole.
