The Pittsburgh Steelers might not be done adding free agents to their roster, and although they haven’t signed anyone recently doesn’t mean they aren’t being active in the market. After being in the mix for Ryan Kerrigan, it is now being reported the Steelers have hosted free agent safety Malik Hooker this week.
Hooker is an intriguing prospect. Throughout his career he has totaled 7 interceptions, 124 tackles, 11 pass breakups, and 2 fumble recoveries in four professional seasons. However, Hooker has been snake bitten by injuries missing 29 games in that time span, including suffering a ruptured Achilles tendon in Week 2 of the 2020 season.
