Steelers coach Drake started off his career at Western Kentucky as a wide receiver, he was later drafted out of college. He would stick around for a few years as a professional player by spending time with the Washington Redskins, Cincinnati Bengals, and even spending time in Canada playing for the Ottawa Rough Riders.
Drake would then move onto coaching as he went back to his alma mater of Western Kentucky for the next 8 years. He would also coach at Georgia, Baylor, and Texas over an 11 year span. Drake would finally gain his first job in the NFL as a receivers coach for the Chicago Bears.
