Le’Veon Bell has made running backs in vogue again in the NFL, and there’s no better example of that than the rookie who’s coming into Heinz Field Sunday with the Jacksonville Jaguars.
The league that became enamored more with the passing game through the years as it bent rules in favor of throwing the football, stiff-armed the halfback position for two straight drafts. Not one was drafted in the first round in either 2013 or 2014. It came coincidentally after the Browns drafted Trent Richardson with the third overall pick in 2012 and he quickly became a bust.
