Prior to the start of the 2014 season, the NFL and its union announced agreement on “improvements” to the policy on performance-enhancing drugs that included testing for human growth hormone, which officially began this past October. As part of that agreement, 5 players on 8 teams were to be tested every week of the season and no testing was to take place on game days.
While I’m unsure about the NFL’s testing during the offseason, it appears as though Pittsburgh Steelers running back Josh Harris is already pretty used to the process.
According to a Sunday evening post on his Twitter account, Harris has been “randomly” tested twice for steroids over the course of the last three months.
