Landry Jones' challenge: Teach new Steelers QBs, but beat them too

The Philadelphia Eagles won their first Super Bowl with their backup quarterback, who earned that game’s MVP.

Could a similar scenario happen for the Steelers?

“That would be the goal,’’ said Landry Jones, entering his sixth season as a backup to Ben Roethlisberger. “Shoot, man, go on a run like that, be Super Bowl MVP!”

Jones does not wish for it, but if something were to happen to Roethlisberger he believes he could play the role Nick Foles did with the Eagles after Carson Wentz was lost to a knee injury last December.
