Earlier today on Inside Training Camp on NFL Network, former NFL Quarterback Kurt Warner talked about what’s important for rookie quarterback Kenny Pickett as training camp progresses.
“What I always wanna see is show me consistency. Show me, you know what you’re doing and you’re making the throws you’re supposed to make. And you’re doing that consistently. If you’re doing that consistently and you compete as well with these veteran guys, then start him,” Warner said.
“I mean, I have no problem with starting a rookie quarterback, even with the tough schedule. If you believe he’s the best guy, if you believe he’s ready for everything that you’re going to throw at him.
