Coming off of a difficult season, one in which he missed multiple games with a hamstring injury and also dealt with a number off issues on the field from penalties to outburst, the future of wide receiver George Pickens with the Pittsburgh Steelers has been in question.
A trade away from the Steelers has been speculated about, but based on what’s come out from the likes of head coach Mike Tomlin, and now GM Omar Khan, it sure sounds like Pickens will be back with the Steelers for the 2025 season.
Speaking to local reporters Tuesday from the NFL Scouting Combine in a side scrum before his podium session, Khan detailed a “really solid” exit meeting with Pickens, and added that the young receiver has a desire to be great, and to be so with the Steelers.
