Going into the 2023 season, much of the Pittsburgh Steelers’ hopes for returning to the playoffs and contention rides on the shoulder of QB Kenny Pickett. General manager Omar Khan knows that and spent a good portion of the Steelers’ resources upgrading the offense with key additions like G Isaac Seumalo, G Nate Herbig, T Broderick Jones, and TE Darnell Washington. However, for NFL.com’s Eric Edholm when previewing Pittsburgh ahead of training camp, it’s time for the coaching staff to step up and help Pickett’s growth.
“The hope is that an improved offensive line, along with strides from young targets George Pickens and Pat Freiermuth, will make this a more fruitful passing game,” Edholm said.
