If Antonio Brown was unhappy with the MVP Award JuJu Smith-Schuster won a couple of weeks ago, it can only be hoped that he will understand he was ineligible for the lastest honor bestowed upon the Pittsburgh Steelers young wide receiver on Thursday.
Named as the Polynesian Pro Football Player of the Year for 2018 by the Polynesian Football Hall of Fame, Smith-Schuster wins the award for the second year in a row and is one of only three players to have earned this honor since it was first introduced in 2015.
Smith-Schuster finished the season with 111 receptions for 1,426 yards and seven touchdowns and was arguably the team’s most consistent player all year.
