No team in the NFL invests more in its offense. The Steelers allocate nearly 60 percent of their cap space to that side of the ball, yet 18 teams score more. The Steelers still haven’t cracked the 30-point mark. Three teams average that many.
Apologies, then, to Ben Roethlisberger — who actually said on his radio show that “the fans, the media should only care about the win” — but I’m going to call this underachieving, overly dramatic unit the single biggest Steelers talking point after watching it barely reach 20 points indoors against the pathetic Indianapolis Colts.
