Former Vice President Joe Biden returned to the Pittsburgh area for the second time this month, this time at a Duquesne University event Friday celebrating the late Steelers owner and president Dan Rooney. Mr. Biden, fresh off the heels of apparently-successful stumping for congressional candidate Conor Lamb, spoke about what he called his and Mr. Rooney's "shared Irish values."
Mr. Biden was the keynote speaker of the invite-only symposium, "Sláinte," which also included a panel by former Steelers stars Franco Harris, Mike Wagner, Charlie Batch, and Rocky Bleier, and one on Mr. Rooney's time as the American ambassador to Ireland.
