Jets poach Steelers ILB coach Aaron Curry

The Pittsburgh Steelers incurred their first loss of the 2025 coaching cycle Friday, as the New York Jets hired now former inside linebackers coach Aaron Curry as their new LB coach, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reported.

The Jets cleaned house this season, firing GM Joe Douglas and HC Robert Saleh mid-season, moving forward with former Detroit Lions defensive coordinator Aaron Glenn as their new head coach and former Denver Broncos Assistant GM Darren Mougey as general manager.

Curry has spent the last two seasons with the Steelers as the inside linebackers coach working under defensive coordinator Teryl Austin following a four-year stint working with the Seattle Seahawks in a variety of assistant roles.
