James Saxon on Le’Veon Bell’s absence: ‘We can only coach the people that we got here’

Tight End Xavier Grimble lay sprawled out, both hands behind his head in front of his teammate’s locker. All offseason, that locker, draped with No. 26 jerseys, has been free space, a perfect place to lay rest with no present threat of interruption.

"I'm just holding down the fort," Grimble quipped.

As has been the case for many of the team’s early season activities, Le'Veon Bell never paid a visit to his locker Tuesday, the first of three days of Steelers minicamp. His absence takes a key figure out of the locker room that younger players can learn from.
