The Steelers are playing host to five college prospects Thursday, including one each from Pitt and Penn State.
Safeties Budda Baker of Washington and Josh Jones of North Carolina State, linebacker Jarrad Davis of Florida, receiver Chris Godwin of Penn State and running back James Conner of Pitt are at the UPMC Rooney Sports Complex to meet with Steelers coaches and scouts in advance of the NFL draft later this month.
Conner, who is projected as a mid- or late-round pick, is a player many have tied to the Steelers because of their need for a backup to Le’Veon Bell.
