JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - After losing starting quarterback Nick Foles to a broken clavicle on Sunday, the Jacksonville Jaguars have traded a fifth-round pick in 2020 to Pittsburgh for quarterback Josh Dobbs.
Dobbs will back up Gardner Minshew, the team's sixth-round pick this year who turned in a record-setting performance in Sunday's loss to Kansas City after replacing Foles.
Minshew completed his first 13 passes - the most by a rookie quarterback to begin his career over the last 40 years, per Elias Sports Elias - en route to 275 yards and two touchdowns.
