The Steelers last Super Bowl victory was after the 2008 regular season. Eleven years and counting is an eternity for fans who remember the glory days of the 1970s when we won four Super Bowls over a span of six seasons.
I think the Steelers Super Bowl drought begs this question: “Is the Super Bowl window open or closed?” The answer to that question may not be as simple as you would think. If you are an optimist, you would answer the question in the affirmative. If you are a pessimist, you would answer the question in the negative.
