It’s no secret that the Pittsburgh Steelers are in need of some help at cornerback, and Iowa prospect Cooper DeJean is one they could have their eye on in Round 1. They’ve done their due diligence, too, hosting him for a top-30 visit. As NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reported Wednesday, it was one of just four teams that DeJean had an official top-30 visit with due to a tight pre-draft schedule.
DeJean’s tight schedule was due to combine medical re-checks coming off a fractured fibula and a late workout for teams on April 15th after not initially being ready to participate in the team’s official Pro Day on March 18.
