Despite endless media speculation and even plugged-in insiders like Adam Schefter confident the Pittsburgh Steelers would not only draft Colorado QB Shedeur Sanders but do so in the first round, the Steelers passed on him not once but three times in the 2025 NFL Draft. Instead, the team took DL Derrick Harmon, RB Kaleb Johnson, and EDGE Jack Sawyer with its first three picks.
Joining The Rich Eisen Show Tuesday, the PPG’s Gerry Dulac explained why Pittsburgh wasn’t going to make Sanders a priority.
“Despite what all the national people thought, they did not intend to draft him,” Dulac told Eisen.
