The Pittsburgh Steelers didn’t just lose on the scoreboard Sunday. They also lost key starters to injury. Speaking to reporters after the game, Mike Tomlin outlined several injuries suffered in the team’s 38-3 defeat. They are:
DT Larry Ogunjobi (back)
CB Cam Sutton (hamstring)
CB Levi Wallace (concussion)
TE Pat Freiermuth (concussion)
WR Steve Sims (eye)
Wallace and Freiermuth will go through the NFL’s updated concussion protocol and try to get cleared in time for next Sunday’s game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. While any head injury is serious, Freiermuth took an especially hard hit, helmet-to-helmet contact, that appeared to knock Freiermuth out cold.
