Steelers cornerback Senquez Golson, who sustained a Lisfranc injury early in training camp, is holding out hope that he can return for the second half of the season.
Golson spoke to reporters today for the first time since he injured his foot Aug. 1. He is out for a minimum of seven more weeks and is targeting a November return.
“I’ll definitely be back this year,” Golson said. “I’m thinking sometime in November. For sure by the end of November, I’ll be full speed back.”
The best-case scenario of a seven-week return would put Golson back by the middle of October.
