Heading into Sunday night’s tilt against the New York Jets, the national media was picking the Jets at a rate of 2-1 over the Pittsburgh Steelers. And early on, it looked like they would be correct. But then QB Russell Wilson, his legs under them, the defense went into lockdown mode, and the Steelers ran away in the second half for a 37-15 win.
Now, no one is ever perfect regarding predictions, whether that’s just picking a game or an entire season. But usually, people are gracious when they’re wrong. After all, football is just a game, right?
