We are still over a month away from the new league year beginning in the NFL, which is where teams can officially begin making roster moves and building for the 2025 season. For the second straight season, the Steelers will enter the offseason with quarterback questions. Both Russell Wilson and Justin Fields are set to be free agents, and the only other quarterback under contract is Skylar Thompson.
Reports have begun coming out, as well, that Steelers offensive coordinator Arthur Smith put training wheels on Wilson after the first matchup with the Bengals where Wilson turned back time and threw for over 400 yards while the Steelers put up 44 points and defeated Cincinnati.
