Skipper has been a fan favorite and point of frustration since the Giants claimed him right before Week One. Pittsburgh released him to get WR Johnny Holton on the 53 man roster. Though they hoped to re-sign Skipper to the practice squad, his stellar preseason performance didn’t go unnoticed and New York scooped him up.
