If you are like me, you are so focused on the Pittsburgh Steelers you don’t know about every player in the NFL. So, when the Steelers traded with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers for safety J.J. Wilcox, I had to do some digging to find out what they received on their end of this trade.
First, it should be noted just how much playing time Wilcox has gotten since entering the league. He played, not necessarily starting, in almost every game he dressed for when playing for the Dallas Cowboys. He was fourth on the depth chart in Tampa Bay, but that doesn’t mean he isn’t capable of playing significant snaps for Pittsburgh.
