Quarterback
Ben Roethlisberger’s attempt at another last-second comeback ended with an interception on a play when he wanted to spike the ball to stop the clock but was overruled by coach Mike Tomlin. Either way, he can’t throw an interception on that play. But it appeared he had won the game with a 10-yard TD to Jesse James with 28 seconds remaining that was overturned. Roethlisberger converted 10 of 16 third-down chances and was 14 of 17 for 165 yards on the first three scoring drives.
