LATROBE, Pa. -- Every year, Pittsburgh Steelers coach Mike Tomlin seems to work a few player nicknames into camp practices. He'll blurt them out as if he's been using them all his life. Really, he just made them up a few days earlier.
Sometimes, the nicknames stick. Le'Veon Bell still calls himself "Juice," a nickname given by Tomlin last year because of Bell's on-field resemblance to O.J. Simpson.
Tomlin says he loves the "informal moments" of camp at St. Vincent College, where he gets to know players and undoubtedly uncovers some intel on the new guys.
