It's Friday, and the work week is winding down. To help pass the time, here's a Friday factoid about the '70s Steelers and their dominant defense.
Drew Pearson took in a Roger Staubach pass, raced into the end zone, and danced.
Three years later, Tony Hill took in a Staubach pass, raced into the end zone, and danced.
While tasteless, Pearson and Hill had good reason to whoop it up after their first quarter touchdowns against the Steelers in Super Bowls X and XIII. Both scores were the only first quarter touchdowns permitted by the vaunted Steel Curtain defense in 1975 and 1978.
