Fox Sports: Giants suspicious of footballs used in loss to Steelers

BUFFALO, N.Y. — The New York Giants alerted the NFL this week that the Steelers might have deflated footballs in last week’s game at Heinz Field, according to Jay Glazer of Fox Sports.

Glazer reported today the Giants tested two balls that made their way to their sideline during the game and later sent them to the NFL for testing of PSI levels.

The Steelers declined comment on the report.

The NFL went through a prolonged controversy when the Indianapolis Colts accused the New England Patriots of deflating footballs in the 2015 AFC championship game. Tom Brady served a four-game suspension this season after a year’s worth of appeals.
