The Pittsburgh Steelers missed out on a top corner like Dre Kirkpatrick, forcing them to consider middle-tier options. Brandon Flowers is one name they’re apparently interested in, according to a report filed by ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler.
Steelers have had contact with reps for cornerback Brandon Flowers (recently cut by Chargers). Won’t sign now but could circle back.

As Fowler points out, the Steelers are in a wait-and-see mode with Flowers, perhaps waiting to see how the rest of the market unfolds before making a decision.
