Fowler: Steelers optimistic about re-signing Justin Fields

The Pittsburgh Steelers will be at the center of the quarterback carousel until the new league year begins and they put pen to paper with whomever their quarterback will be in the 2025 season. That is, unless, they figure it out beforehand. The Steelers could re-sign Justin Fields before he hits the open market in March, which many believe would be the move that makes the most sense. And according to Jeremy Fowler of ESPN, the Steelers feel good about the possibility of Fields returning in 2025.

“I know there is some internal optimism or some sentiment for Justin Fields as an option as their quarterback moving forward, and that both sides are open to a potential deal,” Fowler said on SportsCenter.
