It wasn’t too long ago that wide receivers Emmanuel Sanders and Jerricho Cotchery both played for the Pittsburgh Steelers. Now, both will play in Super Bowl 50 on opposite teams.
Sanders, who was originally drafted by the Steelers in the third round of the 2010 NFL Draft out of SMU, played his first four seasons in the league with the Steelers before signing with the Denver Broncos as an unrestricted free agent in 2014. This past season, sanders caught 76 passes for 1,135 yards and 6 touchdowns.
As for Cotchery, who was originally drafted by the New York Jets in the fourth round of the 2004 NFL Draft out of North Carolina State, he signed with the Steelers in August of 2011.
