The Pittsburgh Steelers had become very familiar with Kevin Rader over the course of the past several seasons. A Pine-Richland graduate, he first signed with the team in 2019 as a Reserve/Future player in January that year. Outside of the occasional cuts, he had spent the rest of his time with the organization until this past week.
He’s now a member of, surprise, surprise, the Tennessee Titans, as the AFC South team led by former Steelers linebacker Mike Vrabel announced his signing to their practice squad on Thursday. The Titans previously claimed outside linebacker Derrek Tuszka off waivers, and have brought in numerous former Steelers, signing Bud Dupree, Olasunkanmi Adeniyi, and Tuzar Skipper, just at the outside linebacker position.
