Longtime offensive lineman Sam Davis, a member of all four of the Steelers' Super Bowl teams in the 1970s, was found dead Tuesday night in McKeesport.
According to our television partner WPXI, Davis, 75, had been reported missing from the New Life Care Personal Home in McKeesport after walking out around 7 a.m. Tuesday. Police later found his body while conducting a search.
Davis was suffering from dementia and was legally blind.
Davis, who joined the Steelers in 1967 as an undrafted rookie out of Allen University, started at left guard for the Steelers from 1970 through 1979.
