It’s worth writing because Spencer served as the Pittsburgh Steelers’ coach in the same position from 2002 to 2006. He was named the Special Teams Coach Of The Year in 2003 and was apart of the staff that won Super Bowl 40 in 2005. He helped teach the likes of James Harrison and Troy Polamalu as they entered the league, first establishing themselves on special teams.
