Former Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Jacoby Jones has passed away at the age of 40.
According to Aaron Wilson of KPRC in Houston, the Super Bowl champion passed away in his sleep overnight. The cause of death is yet to be determined.
Jones was a third-round pick of the Houston Texans in 2007. In 2012, he was a First-Team All-Pro as a returner with the Baltimore Ravens where he helped Baltimore defeat the San Francisco 49ers in Super Bowl XLVII.
Jones joined the Steelers in 2015, where he appeared in four games.
