Former Pittsburgh Steelers cornerback Steven Nelson is retiring from the NFL after nine seasons, per Aaron Wilson.
The Oregon State product tied his career-high in interceptions with four in 2023, and added a fifth in the playoffs.

Nelson spent two seasons with the Steelers in 2019 and 2020 before being surprisingly released ahead of the 2021 season.
