The Pittsburgh Steelers preseason game coverage this season provided by KDKA-TV will look and sound a little different as it was reported Tuesday that former Steelers quarterback Charlie Batch and nose tackle Chris Hoke have been hired by station.
Batch will serve as the color analyst and co-host the pre- and post-game shows for KDKA and that means he’ll be in the booth alongside veteran play-by-play caller Bob Pompeani. Batch replaces former Steelers defensive lineman Edmund Nelson, who has decided to retire.
Hoke will reportedly co-host the Steelers regular-season post-game show for the station.
