Pittsburgh Police have issue an arrest warrant today for a former member of the Pittsburgh Steelers, who they plan to charge with 30 counts of criminal mischief involving graffiti.
Police say they are planning within the next few days to arrest Baron Batch for artwork illegally placed along the Three Rivers Heritage Trail, the Hot Metal Bridge and a parking lot on the Mon Wharf.
According to the police, the artwork has cost more than $16,000 in damages.
Mr. Batch, who calls himself The Artist, last played for the Steelers in 2013. A running back, his career ended with an ACL injury.
