Former Steeler Dri Archer Cut By Jets

Dri Archer reportedly had up to ten practice squad offers following his mid-season release by the Pittsburgh Steelers. He opted against them all, remaining a free agent until signed to a futures contract with the New York Jets in early February.

That stint has come to a quick close, the Jets releasing Archer today. Per Manish Mehta.

Archer, drafted in the late third round of the 2014 NFL Draft, couldn’t even last two seasons with the Steelers.
