When you think Steelers linemen, you think Alan Faneca. The Pittsburgh guard dominated NFL big men for 10 seasons in black and gold after being drafted by the team in the first-round of the 1998 NFL Draft.
Now, for the third consecutive time, Faneca will be named a Pro Football Hall of Fame finalist. Along with 14 other modern-era finalists, Faneca will be hoping to earn his way into Canton.
This year’s class is considered one of the best in recent memory. With top wide receivers like Terrell Owens and Randy Moss, along with linebacker superstars, Ray Lewis and Brian Urlacher, the amount of names in this year’s finalists will be difficult to rise above.
