If you’re a fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers it’s hard not to be excited about the upcoming 2016 season as the team appears to be poised to make a serious run at obtaining a seventh Lombardi Trophy. While the Steelers failed to win the AFC North last season, several major media outlets are already predicting them to win their division in 2016.
In a recent post on ESPN.com, Football Outsiders creator Aaron Schatz briefly explained why his site’s DVOA methodology currently projects the Steelers winning the AFC North in 2016 with a 12-4 record and ending the regular season as the top seed in the conference.
