The makeover of the inside linebacker room for the Pittsburgh Steelers is nearly complete after a pair of moves Thursday, featuring the signing of veteran linebacker Elandon Roberts to a two-year deal and then cutting Myles Jack shortly thereafter.
With Roberts, the Steelers finally get their hands on a guy that they had interest in dating back to the 2016 NFL Draft when Roberts was coming out of Houston and had a private workout with the Steelers in the pre-draft process.
His signing for the black and gold comes at a good time defensively at a position where the Steelers need a ton of help and are throwing a bunch of resources at the position.
