Things looked a bit bleak coming out of Sunday’s loss to the Arizona Cardinals at the inside linebacker position as veteran Elandon Roberts went down with a groin injury and had to leave the game, returning for just one play before exiting for good.
On a short week leading up to Thursday’s game agains the New England Patriots, it felt like there was very little chance that Robert would be able to give it a go against a run-heavy team in the Patriots.
Surprisingly though, Roberts recovered quickly, was able to practice on Wednesday and then was able to play Thursday night against the Patriots.
