Falcons QB Kirk Cousins Won’t Begin Training Camp On PUP, Clearing Way For Week 1 Matchup Against Steelers

Less than one full year from suffering a torn Achilles tendon on Oct. 29 last season in Green Bay, new Atlanta Falcons quarterback Kirk Cousins has made a full recovery and is set to start Week 1 against the Pittsburgh Steelers to open the 2024 season.

According to Falcons’ head coach Raheem Morris, Cousins has been medically cleared from his torn Achilles and won’t open up training camp on the Active/PUP list, making him full-go for the Falcons.
