PITTSBURGH -- Dwayne Haskins, a first-round draft pick in 2019, signed a reserve/future contract with the Pittsburgh Steelers on Thursday, the team announced.

The sides met earlier Thursday before Haskins officially signed the deal.

The quarterback was released by the Washington Football Team less than a month ago, a day after he was benched in a loss to the Carolina Panthers.
