There is no denying Justin Gilbert is a talented football player. You don’t become a first round draft pick for nothing, and when the Cleveland Browns took Gilbert it looked as if they had found a corner who would be there for years to come.
However, several public reports of Gilbert’s lack of desire to play football eventually led to him being traded to the Pittsburgh Steelers, in return for a late round draft pick in the 2018 NFL Draft.
Gilbert spent the 2016 season with the Steelers, playing minimally, and was released at the beginning of the 2017 offseason.
