Former Steelers Charlie Batch and Chris Hoke will replace Edmund Nelson on KDKA-TV Steelers programming next season.

Batch, who played quarterback for the Steelers from 2002-12, will serve as co-host alongside Bob Pompeani for pre- and post-game shows as well as color analyst for preseason games.

Hoke, who played defensive tackle for the Steelers from 2001-11, will co-host the postgame shows.

The Steelers said Nelson, a defensive tackle for the team from 1982-87 and a mainstay on KDKA’s coverage for years, is retiring from his television duties.
