BLOOMINGTON, Minn. — The New England Patriots dynasty began on a snowy day in Foxborough, Mass., 16 years ago, and Steve Wisniewski was on the wrong end of it, which became infamous as the Tuck Rule game.
Now his nephew, Central Catholic grad Stefen Wisniewski, can have a hand in perhaps ending the long Patriots run of success.
“It’s pretty crazy that Tom Brady has been playing that long, isn’t it?” said Stefan, the Philadelphia Eagles’ starting left guard. “That was a long time ago.”
The Wisniewski family story also is pretty crazy. Steve was an eight-time Pro Bowler and, like his nephew, a left guard.
