The Pittsburgh Steelers remain interested in bringing back quarterback Mason Rudolph, who is due to hit free agency next week. The Steelers are still committed to giving Kenny Pickett a chance, and Rudolph is the ideal option to come in and compete with Pickett. However, despite Rudolph’s performance in 2023, where he had 719 yards and three touchdowns without an interception and went 3-0 in the regular season, and then threw for 229 yards and two touchdowns in Pittsburgh’s Wild Card Round playoff loss, the Steelers aren’t going to roll out the Brinks truck for Rudolph.
